South Eastern Regional College (SERC) Level 2 Sport students successfully organized and delivered a rugby coaching session with Neil Doak (Ulster rugby) at Lisburn Rugby Club. The event allowed the students to gain valuable experience in communication, organisational and problem solving skills, all of which will benefit them in their studies and when looking for employment.

A number of students from the Lisburn campus took part in the event from Sport, Public Services, Business Studies, and Plumbing, while two students were selected to go forward to the Development Squad with Ulster Rugby.

The College would like to thank Neil, who gave up his time to coach the students and make the event a success, and Colin Watson, Chair Person of Lisburn Rugby Club, who provided the venue and equipment free of charge.

Nursery aged Girls & Boys train in Ballymacrickett Primary School (adjacent to our pitch)

U6 Girls & Boys (ie born 2007 & Jan- June 2008) train on top pitch beside clubrooms

U8 Girls & Boys (ie born in 2005 & 2006) train on top pitch at far side opposite clubrooms

U10 Girls & Boys (ie born in 2003 & 2004)train at bottom end of top pitch

U12 Girls & Boys (ie born 2001 & 2002)train at near side of bottom pitch

U14 Girls (ie born 1999 & 2000) train at far side of bottom pitch

Light refreshments will be provided afterwards.
